Apple has released a new iPhone and Safari 5 with extensions and expanded HTML5 support.
The iPhone 4 will go on sale on June 24 in Britain, France, Germany, Japan and the United States and will cost 199 dollars for the 16 gigabyte model and 299 dollars for the 32GB version.
The iPhone 4 includes more than 100 new features including a front-facing video camera to allow for video-conferencing between iPhones, a better still camera, an improved battery and a screen with significantly higher resolution.

i loved Jobs saying "a few of you may have seen this already!" LOL! I think the phone looks stunning! Jonny Ive has done it again! Contract runs out in December so i'll have to make do with just iOS4 for the meantime!

It does look nice, but i shall stick with my shiney new HTC Desire.... alot of people i have been speakin to recently are makin the switch away from the iPhone, the less-techy-types that is. The techy ones are entrenched in either the pro/anti apple camp, and thats not likely to change any time soon.

According to O2 (on Facebook and Twitter last night) they will be offering a limited upgrade to those still in contract.
[Rant On]I fail to see why iPhone users should be treated any different to others though. If a limited in contract upgrade can be offered to one set of phone users then the same can be offered to other phone users as well.[Rant Off]Vince Marsters
