Default British Gas - I wish ariotek did homecare cover

I made a simple request at the start of this month regarding my boiler which as been recently installed to make BG aware and advise me on the situation with my homecare cover.

Now I am fighting with them over the time it has taken to even get an answer and I had a call during this time where the person said, I understand your boiler is over 10 years old. Well I think he wished he never had called me!.

I am still waiting for a response and because of the call outs I made on my old boiler my current payments for homecare are higher than they should be.

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hey, at least you can get your boiler serviced!

The boiler in my house (and the other 20 houses on our nice little estate) is a Gledhill Gulfstream. We tried to set up a service plan with nPower, but they won't service it. None of the local companies will service it. And a British Gas person broke about 3 circuit boards when he serviced a neighbours' - granted it was a new boiler to him, and it was fixed for free, but still...

20 houses in our estate, 50 quid a time for a service... I may well book myself onto a Corgi course and make myself a mint!

My previous boiler (a sime friendly ) had loads of visits and the engineers who visited, I think, were just making it tick along. Its last issue was make a very large banging sound and any point in the day or night even when it was not on or no hot water running.

I don't think Corgis are allowed to work on gas anymore, it's some other qualification.
