We have decided to remove Fantastico from all our servers and replace it with Softaculous. The decision was made due to the length of time that Fantastico took to update scripts and also because Softaculous has many more scripts for customers to install.
Just look for the Softaculous icon in Cpanel try it out and let us know what you think.

Quote from our upstream provider about tonight's outage.
We recently experienced a network outage caused by a faulty Virgin line card upstream from our data centres, which needed replacing. This appears to be part of a larger issue which Virgin experience in Telehouse in London, which has affected a large amount of there customers.
At the current time we are unable to get in contact with Virgin or get to their system status page due to the sheer size of this problem and amount of people it has affected, this appears to have brought down their phone systems & websites.
We are also currently investigating why the routes didn't completely fail across to our resillient circuit.
The issues were experienced between the following times:
17:24 to 17:37
17:54 to 18:13
We will continue to try to follow-up on this issue with Virgin and once we have the full information will supply an update.

We have introduced the facility for customers to get SMS messages sent direct to their mobile phones. All you have to do is login to billing and activate it if required see image below:
